The actual 'Door of Opportunity' piece sold quite quickly, there have been several enquiries about it since so I thought it would be a good piece to produce a print of!

Art Car Boot....and Paint Stuff paintbrushes

I'm seriously trying to keep this blog up to date! - and write about stuff before it happens....to advertise things and let people know about shows.
However its not working quite yet! So this entry is unfortunately about something that happened afew weeks ago.

THE ART CAR BOOT FAIR - Twinkle and I had lots of things at the legendary Art Car Boot this year, on the Gabberdashery stall.

I also launched my 'Paint Stuff' paintbrushes at it, to encourage everyone to start a painting revolution.

Box of Ifs.....

I made the 'Box of Ifs' for Gabberdashery, check out the website for info!
www.gabberdashery.com

I'd been thinking for a while that I would like to do a painting about all the 'IFS' I could think of that would make the world a better place.  I suppose its abit inspired by John Lennon's Imagine, its idealistic, but if everyone were a pacifist, then there would be no war.  There will probably always be violence in the world, but why not make a stand for pacifism?
So this box is a version of what will become a big painting at some point, it includes a couple of the 'IF' ideas I'd thought about, I like that its the 'Box of Ifs' instead of the 'Box of Delights'

This is my gorgeous new studio! Its in a 1960s warehouse building, its such a brilliant place to paint in.  I moved in about 6 weeks ago.

There's even a wall of weird and wonderful things....
